This year is our Club's 90th Anniversary on 21st June 2023 and we are planning to celebrate this in a number of ways around this date. Details on individual events will be published shortly but I thought I would give you some advance information on what we have planned so you can get them in your diaries
On the 21st June ( our actual anniversary date) we shall be holding a koi tent event to celebrate the anniversary combined with our normal President Day activities. We will be inviting a number of local dignitaries including local  Parish, New Forest and Hampshire  councillors, our sponsors and advertisers and Bowls organisation to come along and see what our Club is all about. We will also be holding an invitational Bowls match against a number of our neighbouring clubs. This will be followed by our Club members activities along the familiar lines to previous years. We will then culminate with a Hog Roast celebration for all members and associates
On the evening of Friday 23rd June we will be holding a Party Night for all members and associates. We will have a disco on site along with a freshly prepared Pizza meal.

Then on Sunday 25th June we have the pleasure of welcoming Clevedon Promenade Bowling Club who are also celebrating their 90th anniversary this year. The format will be a match against them first followed by a BBQ afterwards.

We are very excited by these events and we very much hope that Members will give us their full support in attending / participating in these Events

Regards, Paul Ware-Lane  (President)

On Wednesday 24th May we enjoyed an afternoon Mufti Roll Up followed by a gorgeous Fish & Chip Supper, which was enjoyed by all who attended. Many thanks to all those who helped with this event.

A variety of club social events are held throughout the year. These occasions are a great way to enjoy the company and friendship of fellow club members. Full details of each event will be displayed in the Clubhouse and here, on the club’s website. With the great addition in 2021 of the Bowlers Retreat we are wanting to make good use of the facilities that we now have.

We always appreciate and welcome ideas and suggestions for new social functions. Any club member who feels they could organise an event or would like to help in some way, please get in touch with the Club’s Social Coordinator: Paul Ware-Lane. Email:
